Checking critical component tolerances as part of our inspection process

All industrial vibrators returned for service at Hindon are subject to a comprehensive inspection. This battery of tests begins with winding and insulation integrity. The vibrator is then disassembled and cleaned prior to dimensional checks for critical tolerances including: stator frame bore, bearing housing interfaces, and rotor bearing journals. Another critical check is the vibrator mounting pedestals/base.  Complete base flatness is a critical distinction between a rotary electric vibrator and a static electric motor. We use a flatness table and examine all surfaces and underwebbing to look for cracks or pitting which could indicate joint separation from the mounting base.

Once the industrial vibrator has been fully inspected, we provide a detailed inspection report that explains the results of the inspection and provides a quote for our suggested repair.

When performing repairs, we use factory-original parts in order to ensure a like-new repair. Our facility in Charleston, South Carolina maintains a complete parts inventory including factory specified cylindrical roller bearings and other critical tolerance items.

Upon completion of repair, each repaired industrial vibrator is subjected to a complete operational test, including electrical amperage and temperature rise checks. Units are then finish painted with machinery enamel paint and crated for return shipment.
